Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a good start! I have been keeping a journal lately in which I state three things I am thankful for each morning… And, let me tell you, it makes a world of difference to how you perceive things! Especially Mondays! My husband and I have been making an effort to live with less stress and more positivity, so this is a great (and easy) activity I suggest doing for self-improvement 🙂
Lately with training to be a travel planner contracting through Disney, I have been thinking a lot about where exactly I want my adventures to lead me and my family next. We have a few main priorities when undergoing our travels:
- Nature. We LOVE natures and the outdoors, and seeing natural wonders of the world is incredibly important, and humbling, to us.
- Safety. We have a baby now, which means that it is particularly important to us now to travel to locations that have generally low crime rates.
- Diversity. Living on the west coast of the United States, there is a diverse population and a wide range of outdoor beauty that is easily within reach. If we are going to travel somewhere, I want it to be unique from what we live in with a daily basis.
With all of that being said, as of right now it’s safe to say mine and my husband’s top 5 wanna-see-destinations / countries (in order of priority) are:
This is a very hard list to come up with, as there are so many places we would love to explore. I think it is important to make lists like this to determine what you are working towards, and would love to hear your advice on countries or cities that you think meet our basic criteria on what we look for in travels! Do we share any of the same “bucket list” items? Let me know in the comments, and continue following along as we adventure through life!
Keep smiling, keep exploring!
