Tips for Going on Long Road Trips with a Baby or Toddler

After we traversed that 22-hour road trip, we knew we could all handle long drives. Consequently, there have been about a dozen 7-10 hour day drives that the three of us have embarked on between last summer and now. Suffice to say, we have gained some insight on how to make these inevitable family road trips a lot less treacherous—and, dare I say, fun!

We recently felt as though we needed to take a break from a few busy areas of our lives and unwind as a family together. Since we are moving out of the state towards the end of summer, my mother and father in law thought the best way to do this was together on vacation—and they couldn’t have been more right! Silver Strand State Beach

Sunrise, Sand, Surf, Swim, Sunset, Silver Strand… SUMMER!  We had the pleasure recently of staying at one of our favorite beach destinations, Silver Strand State Beach in Southern California. With the pristine beach, friendly campground, recreation opportunities, and nearby amenities, it is incredibly hard to beat a relaxing trip to Silver Strand State Beach.
